Requests for home visits should be made, if possible before 10.30 a.m. each day so that the doctor can visit after morning surgery. If you feel that a visit is urgent, explain this to the receptionist. She will ask you to explain what the problem is so that the doctor can decide the urgency.
Urgent visits will always be dealt with as quickly as possible. The doctor may contact you beforehand in order to assess the urgency.
PLEASE ONLY REQUEST A HOME VISIT IF YOU ARE GENUINELY UNABLE TO ATTEND THE SURGERY, AS UNNECESSARY VISITS LEAD TO A DEALY IN SEEING MORE URGENT CASES.
